The 18th Annual Malaysian Educational Technology Convention 2005 will be held in Marang, Terengganu Darul Iman from 16-19 September 2005. You can check this out at http://www.freewebs.com/ptpm2005. Calling all academics from Schools, Teacher Colleges, University Colleges and Universities in Malaysia to participate and present their research findings and meet fellow academics in educational technology in Malaysia. The Convention is an annual congregation of the Malaysian Educational Technology Association (META), an association formed under the auspices of the Educational Technology Division of the Ministry of Education Malaysia. This year, we will have an international Keynote Speaker (as we had last year, which was a first for the Convention) from Canada. Associate Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ally, the Director of the School of Computing and Information Systems of Athabasca University has agreed to be with us and deliver his Keynote. We have yet to obtain a title from him. The Convention has been conveniently packaged with the inclusion ofconvention fee and accomodation. A refereed and edited Proceedings will be published with an ISBN. Selected papers will be invited for revision for publication in the Malaysian Journal of Educational Technology and the Malaysian Online Journal of Instructional Technology.
